Giant Sunflower
This magnificent flower, on a stalk that is well over 7 feet tall, is about 16 inches or so in diameter. As the morning sunlight grew stronger, I aimed the camera in a way that only sky was behind the masterpiece of nature. Each growing season I put in about a dozen or more of these flowers and do take the seeds to salt and roast. My two lovebirds and I love them. Shot with the Sony Handycam.
First Post: Me, with Sony Handycam
Taken just this morning, with the Sony. This is a terrific camcorder, with video and still functions. It has 40x optical zoom and 30 gigabyte capacity for up to 20 hours of video capture. As for stills, well, you can take several hundred with no problem. Uploading the stored photos and films is mega-easy, with a connector cable that pretty much starts the upload immediately. The camera is rechargeable and is sized well for holding with one hand shots. Over the past years since I first acquired it, I have taken great landscape, skyscape, still life, and people photos which then I edit with photo manipulation software. With the magic of digital technology, anyone can produce great photos. This one, of me in the morning, is of course just a casual snap to get this blog off and running. My primary blog, http://www.jopeters.blogspot/, which was my first blog created, has featured many of the photos I have taken with this great camcorder.
